The more information that the attorney knows regarding your case, the better.  If you have any prior orders, or if you have been served legal papers, then providing those to the attorney before you meet will help ensure that the attorney provides you a more thorough consultation.  You can drop a copy of your documents at our office or you can email them to us.  If you don't have them, don't worry.  Just make sure you provide your attorney with as much information as possible. 

During the initial consultation, you will meet with one of the attorneys at our firm.  During the consultation, your attorney will gather information from you, and you will be able to discuss your case.  Your attorney will then provide you with information on what our firm can do to help you resolve your legal issues.  Additionally, the attorney will clearly explain the financial aspects of what we can do as well as the cost to you.  It's a no stress consultation!  

Sometimes people don't talk to an attorney because they believe they can't afford it.  This is a BIG mistake that people make because there are a number of options available to clients.  At the Olibas Law Firm, PLLC, we can discuss ways that you can still receive some legal representation that still fits your budget (see our "Limited Scope Representation" blog.  During your consultation, the attorney will discuss this type of option if she believes it may benefit you.  Always be honest with your attorney so that you can receive the best consultation possible! 

While everyone would typically like a guarantee regarding their case, it is impossible to determine your case's legal outcome (if we could, we would!).  Additionally, we are prohibited from providing guarantees or assurances regarding your case outcome.  What we can promise, however, is that we will work diligently to provide you the best representation we can.  We work hard and fight hard for you.  We will work with you to develop your case, and we will strive to ensure that you always feel as though you are in control of your own case.
